Auerfarm, Bloomfield, CT.
In-person. Thursday, January 16th
10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Snow date: January 30th
The Carrot Project’s training will mix understanding farm financial statements with a proactive planning approach to adapting to climate change and other farm stressors. It will also offer approaches for managing your business through challenging cycles of variable seasons.
Are you concerned about:
Revenue shifts that will affect your business in 2025?
Managing through cycles of growing seasons with good and bad weather?
How to keep farming with personal sustainability and not lose your shirt?
Confidently using your financials to inform your decision-making and meet your goals?
The Carrot Project will help you establish or brush up on your skills with financial statements and increase what you can glean from them about your operation. We will mix financial and operational analysis over the course of the day, using interactive group activities to improve your farm’s planning position against risk and stressors and guard your operation’s future. The training is free of charge and lunch will be provided.
Registration closes January 12th. Please help us plan ahead and accommodate your dietary needs by registering before the deadline!
The Carrot Project’s Managing Your Finances in the Time of Climate Crisis is based upon work supported by USDA/NIFA and NERME under Award Number 2023-70027-40447. Also supported by Farm Credit East.
